Experteer Overview In this senior role you will shape the architecture of Enterprise Data Warehouse applications to meet business needs with performance and security in mind. You will collaborate with tech leads, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectural solutions. You’ll create and maintain comprehensive design documentation and mentor delivery teams. You’ll stay current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with the enterprise strategy. This position offers a chance to influence data platforms at scale and impact critical banking workflows. Compensation / Benefits * Lead architectural design and development of EDW applications to meet performance and security standards * Collaborate with tech leads, Enterprise Solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architecture * Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, specs, and patterns * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams (code reviews, troubleshooting) * Stay updated on trends and apply them to drive innovation and improvement * Evaluate tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve data application efficiency and scalability * Ensure alignment with overall technology strategy and standards with Enterprise architects * Participate in cross-functional discussions for process optimization and system integration * Be accountable for the overall application architecture strategy and its alignment with Target State Enterprise Architecture * May mentor technical delivery staff * Perform other duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree * 7+ years in software engineering * 5+ years in application architecture/design within banking/financial services * Proficiency in software architecture patterns, data warehousing, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) * Strong knowledge of security practices, data protection, and banking compliance standards * Experience with Agile methodologies and delivering complex projects on time * Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences Key requirements * health insurance * wellness program * retirement savings plan * paid leave * paid holidays * PTO
