Cross-Platform C++ Developer

As part of SoundHound’s mission to Houndify everything, we are creating leaner versions of our NLU and ASR engines so that they can operate on various smaller platforms such as the ones used in automobiles, mobile phones and home devices. In this role, you will be part of a small and highly talented team that is in charge of deploying our software on such platforms and solving software challenges that arise in these cross platform development tasks. If you have ever built your own PC, you know what the word “jumper” means, you have used a Raspberry Pi for home automation, or you have written software that is capable of running on different hardware architectures, this position might be for you! REQUIREMENTS: -Proficiency in cross-platform development -Extensive experience in system profiling -Proficiency in C and C++ -Experience with multi-threaded programming -Good knowledge of Linux and the Linux programming interface. -Any scripting language (bash, tcsh, etc) and or perl/python NICE TO HAVES: -Knowledge of CUDA and/or OpenCL -Knowledge of algorithms
