Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. This role is responsible for analyzing healthcare-related data, developing reports, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analysis, SQL, and data warehousing best practices, with a focus on supporting healthcare-related data systems. Responsibilities:
- Analyze healthcare-related data to support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
- Perform data profiling and validation to identify data anomalies.
- Document data processes and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide regular project updates to customers and maintain strong communication.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of healthcare business analysis experience supporting business initiatives through data analysis, writing business requirements and user acceptance testing of various systems
- 5+ years of SQL development, including performance tuning.
- 3+ years of experience working with State Medicaid and CHIP agencies or equivalent healthcare payer
- Basic understanding of CMS reporting requirements for Medicaid
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong team collaboration and adaptability. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with PERM, T-MSIS, CMS Federal Reporting or similar projects
- Experience in developing Adult/Child Core Measures, HEDIS, CHIPRA or similar quality metrics
- Experience with healthcare-related data systems.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
