Sr Lead Infrastructure Engineer / Platform Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance the Software Defined Branch platform, modernizing Windows automation and C#, .NET, and PowerShell workflows at scale. You’ll collaborate with a small, autonomous engineering team to deliver end-to-end solutions that are clean, maintainable, and extensible. You will apply deep technical expertise to tackle complex problems, drive programs, and shape platform capabilities. A strong focus on AI-assisted tooling and secure, compliant delivery will be essential, offering the chance to influence critical infrastructure in a high-performing environment. Compensation / Benefits * Apply deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and systems, anticipate issues, and mitigate risk * Collaborate with other platforms to modernize technology processes and resolve issues * Own infrastructure engineering in line with business requirements * Drive results by leading multiple complex programs * Provide thought leadership within the product line * Ensure execution complies with risk, security, and regulatory standards * Assess upstream/downstream implications and propose mitigation actions * Mentor and advise junior engineers and technologists * Contribute to an inclusive team culture with diversity and respect Tasks * Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience * Knowledge of hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments * Experience using enterprise AI capabilities in infrastructure workflows with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness * Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and knowledge of LLM integration in production * Ability to work autonomously, own technical decisions, and contribute at a senior level in a small team * Minimum 7 years of deep production experience with C#, .NET, and PowerShell * Experience with Windows platform engineering and large-scale automation workflows * Strong understanding of REST API design, relational databases, and system integration patterns * Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multi-cloud/multi-environment operation * Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React) and event-driven architecture is a plus * Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments is favorable * Background in platform modernization or legacy system re-architecture is beneficial Key requirements *
