Infrastructure Engineer Sr. (Proofpoint Engineer)

As an Infrastructure Engineer Sr. within PNC’s technology organization you can be based in Strongsville OH, Pittsburgh PA or Phoenix AZ.

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of PNC’s proofpoint team. On a daily basis you will work with skilled engineers to monitor the health and functionality of the proofpoint infrastructure. Working in partnership with the PNC Security team, you will be responsible for assisting with responding to security events, system anomalies, and system issues. Deep knowledge of proofpoint on-premises & cloud platforms, SKIM/SPF/DMARC, SMTP & related diagnostics, as well as complex email flow configurations is required., * Functions as messaging SME and technical lead for assigned projects.

• Develop and maintain process workflow and infrastructure architectural diagrams / documentation.

• Ensure adherence to enterprise change and risk control management standards.

• On-call rotation schedule for critical after-hours support.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
