Job description

  • Design and develop responsive, scalable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Partner with scientists, researchers, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to build user-facing applications that support drug discovery and target evaluation.

  • Create data visualizations and dashboards that surface biological data, predictive models, and research insights.

  • Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs, databases, and AI-driven services into a seamless user experience.

  • Support rapid feature development for a beta research platform while maintaining production-grade applications.

  • Enhance existing applications by improving usability, performance, and scalability.

  • Participate in Agile development practices and collaborate across globally distributed teams in the US and UK.

  • Contribute to AI-enabled testing and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on front-end development.

  • Hands-on experience building applications with:

o React

o JavaScript/TypeScript

o Java

o HTML5/CSS3

  • Experience developing applications that consume and display large datasets.

  • Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

  • Background working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or research-focused organizations. * Experience developing scientific, healthcare, or research data applications.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled applications, predictive analytics, or data science platforms.

  • Experience building advanced dashboards and interactive visualizations.

  • Knowledge of biological, genomic, clinical, or research data domains.

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as:

o GCP

o AWS

o Azure
