Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will develop Go-based microservices and RESTful APIs to enable and expand CrowdStrike’s CSPM platform within the Falcon Horizon control plane. You will own end-to-end delivery, enforce quality and observability, and contribute to a scalable cloud security solution. You’ll work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment to help secure cloud workloads for customers, leveraging AI-driven insights and a strong engineering culture. Compensation / Benefits * Develop Go-based microservices to support new and existing CSPM features and RESTful APIs * Own delivery of increasingly complex projects both individually and with a team * Uphold engineering best practices: testing, peer reviews, logging, monitoring, and resilient architecture * Utilize Kafka for event-driven workflows; Cassandra, ElasticSearch, or PostgreSQL for storage * Provide on-call monitoring and production support for services owned by the team * Reflect on architecture, models, UX, performance, and stability to enable rapid prototyping * Develop a platform to secure the lifecycle of cloud workloads for CrowdStrike customers Tasks * U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident * Experience programming in at least one object-oriented language; Go is used here * Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs * Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) * Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Templates) * Hands-on experience with Docker in Kubernetes environments using Helm * Experience with a message queue (Kafka or SQS) * Experience with RDBMS databases; specifically Postgres; SQL knowledge * Strong debugging skills to identify design flaws, race conditions, and bottlenecks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; proficiency with algorithms and data structures; coding interview readiness * Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows Key requirements * Market leader in compensation and equity awards * Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs * Competitive vacation and holidays * Paid parental and adoption leaves * Professional development opportunities * Employee Networks and volunteering opportunities
