Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you lead the enterprise AI security architecture program, shaping strategy, standards, and governance for AI, Generative AI, ML, and Agentic AI. You partner with cross-functional teams to embed security across the AI lifecycle, enabling innovation while meeting regulatory and business objectives. You act as the senior security authority for AI initiatives and help translate risk into architecture decisions. This is a high-impact role in a globally active financial services group. Compensation / Benefits * Define and maintain AI security architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures, and guardrails for AI-based solutions * Design secure-by-design architecture patterns across data ingestion, model development, training, deployment, inference, RAG, agent orchestration, and operations * Lead AI security architecture reviews, threat models, and risk assessments for platforms, cloud services, and third-party AI tech * Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model poisoning, adversarial attacks, data exposure, and AI supply chain risks * Establish security controls for AI platforms, cloud environments, IAM, secrets management, data protection, monitoring, logging, and runtime security * Develop enterprise reference architectures and governance for foundation models, autonomous agents, and emerging AI tech * Partner with architecture, engineering, cloud, data, privacy, legal, compliance, model risk, and cyber defense to integrate AI security requirements * Serve as senior AI security architect and trusted advisor to leadership on risks, controls, regulatory expectations, and architecture decisions * Define architecture requirements for Agentic AI, including authorization, tool access, human oversight, audit logging, and containment * Lead AI threat modeling, security assessments, red teaming, and control validation for high-risk AI implementations * Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide strategic recommendations on adoption, risk, and security direction * Support regulatory examinations and governance reviews by defining security controls and evidence requirements Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience * 12+ years in cybersecurity/security architecture/related disciplines * 7+ years leading enterprise security architecture initiatives or strategic programs * Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture, networking, OS, web apps, APIs, cloud security, and modern practices * Experience in architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk analysis, security assessments, control design * Deep understanding of cyber threats, monitoring, incident response, red teaming, and control validation * Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Strong IAM knowledge (AD, Azure AD, MFA, PKI, machine identities, PAM) * Deep understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, model operations, Agentic AI * Experience securing AI-enabled apps, APIs, AI platforms, and third-party AI * Knowledge of AI risks and controls (prompt security, model integrity, adversarial ML, governance, monitoring) * Experience supporting audits, regulatory assessments in highly regulated industries * Experience aligning AI and cybersecurity controls with NIST, ISO, OWASP, SOX, SWIFT, AI risk mgmt frameworks * Strong executive communication and stakeholder management * Understanding of third-party AI risk, data governance, privacy, and enterprise governance processes * Experience developing security standards and governance frameworks for enterprise tech * Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, CSSLP, SABSA, cloud, or AI governance certifications a plus Key requirements * hybrid work model * accommodations during candidacy
