Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform

Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform you will shape and deliver the security technology roadmap within KPMG’s Digital Nexus team, aligning network security with enterprise infrastructure. You will translate industry trends into actionable plans and ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP and Palo Alto into the broader tech ecosystem. You will provide guidance, drive high-quality delivery, and support operations with root-cause analyses. This role offers hands-on architecture work, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to lead secure, scalable network solutions at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to technology architecture roadmaps and maintain alignment with industry standards * Evaluate current network security architecture and develop improvement plans * Integrate Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto technologies with the broader infrastructure * Provide guidance and enforce product development processes, budgets, and timelines * Offer last-tier support to operations and support teams, including root cause analysis * Design system configurations and establish network environment standards * Mentor and train Network team members * Support multi-project prioritization and resource planning Tasks * 5+ years’ experience with Web proxy products (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access/ZIA/ZPA * Hands-on Google Cloud Platform engineering (VPC, Cloud Armor) and integration of security appliances * Strong background in Network automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent verbal/written communication and leadership ability * Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * 401(k) plans * disability and life insurance * well-being benefits
