IT Infrastructure Engineer IV, Application (Epic Interop)

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable IT infrastructure that supports Epic deployments and enterprise data needs. You will work with cross-functional teams and the Epic vendor to ensure high availability, performance, and secure data utilization. You’ll manage monitoring, upgrades, and disaster recovery, while enhancing system management through scripting and automation. This position combines security, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps practices to support both production and non-production environments. Compensation / Benefits * Monitor network and Web server activity for security breaches using intrusion detection techniques * Install and manage Epic application deployment platforms for production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production needs * Install and maintain administrative and monitoring tools to support high availability and performance of Epic system * Configure and troubleshoot integrated third-party software and peripherals * Apply platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production components * Respond to emergencies and after-hours issues * Write and maintain scripts to improve system management tasks * Maintain and test processes related to business continuity and participate in change control for planned activities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Epic vendor to ensure proactive support and best practices * Drive and document standards for enterprise infrastructure deployments * Lead implementation of enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure successful deployment and operation Tasks * Minimum three (3) years in planning, design, and implementation of security solutions * Minimum two (2) years in configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation of security technologies * Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and minimum six (6) years in IT operations with distributed technologies, systems development, or networking * Additional equivalent work experience may substitute the degree requirement Key requirements *
