Rail Systems Engineer in Derby

We are looking for a senior engineer to lead the mechanical integration of all train systems into a fully coordinated 3D model, supported by the associated installation drawings for one of our Rolling stock / Rail Transport projects. \n

The role would act as the focal point for integrating inputs from the various system engineering disciplines, coordinating activity across a multidisciplinary group of around 30 people. \n

Individual would also interface closely with a third-party client team in Italy responsible for detailed modelling and drawing production. \n

Hands-on experience in the design of mechanical systems in the rail sector \n

Experience in handling the engineering data using CREO and GPLM PLM \n

Experience in rail / rolling stock mechanical systems \n

Good experience in working with cross functional teams and Integration engineering teams \n

Ability to identify the root cause of the errors and issue resolution experience \n
