Systems Engineer - Level 2/3 (AHT)

Experteer Overview In this role you will own the system technical baseline and ensure alignment across CONOPS, requirements, design, and test. You will coordinate cross-discipline teams to translate mission threads and constraints into concrete requirements and design. You will drive requirements development with customers, craft integration strategies and V&V plans, and support proposals with technical content. This is a chance to shape complex, distributed systems for space-related programs and engage with government customers. You will work in a collaborative, innovation-forward environment at NGSP in Aurora, CO, contributing to critical missions and cutting-edge MBSE practice. Compensation / Benefits * Own the system technical baseline across program phases and ensure CONOPS, requirements, design, and test consistency * Lead cross-discipline collaboration (systems, software, hardware, test, operations) to resolve issues and drive decisions * Capture mission threads and operational constraints, translating them into requirements and design * Lead requirements development with customers, clarifying needs and constraints * Develop integration strategies, V&V plans, and detailed test plans at system and subsystem levels * Use modeling, simulation, and MBSE artifacts to support design decisions and trade studies * Identify risks and opportunities, tracking mitigation actions * Present approaches and results to internal leadership and external customers; support proposals and technical volumes Tasks * Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application * Experience with system requirements and interface control documents (ICDs) * Ability to perform requirements analysis, allocation, and traceability from high-level needs to components/services * Ability to specify and validate requirements for build/deploy/rollback in a cloud environment * Ability to create clear technical documentation (requirements, interface specs, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams) * Familiarity with reading/creating/interpreting CAMEO/DOORS/MBSE models Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off * PTO for vacation and personal business
