Job description

Experteer Overview As a Solutions Architect at Databricks, you drive the adoption of the Unified Analytics Platform for strategic customers. You will shape reference architectures, guide multi-cloud implementations, and collaborate with sales to establish trusted advisor relationships. You’ll lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and open-source evangelism around Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas. This role blends hands-on data engineering, ML, and cloud integration to deliver measurable business value. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical leadership to customers evaluating and adopting Data and AI solutions from Databricks * Consult on big data architecture, run proof-of-concept projects for strategic customers, data science and ML initiatives, and validate cloud and third-party integrations * Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications * Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues * Evangelize Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas) across developer communities * Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen internal SA capabilities and relationships * Travel to customer sites up to 30% Tasks * 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role * Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems * Proficiency in at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R * Experience building solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Experience in Data Engineering technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) * Experience in Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS) * Experience in Data Science and ML technologies (pandas, scikit-learn) Key requirements *
