Program Security Subject Matter Expert (SME), Special Access Programs (SAP)

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide expert multi-discipline security support for SAP/SCI programs, ensuring compliance with DoD and SAP policies. You will lead security policy development, risk assessments, and training, while coordinating with government and contractor teams. You will drive continuous improvement of security procedures and oversee investigations of security incidents. Compensation / Benefits * Provide day-to-day multi-discipline security support for SAP/SCI activities * Develop and execute policies for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data * Assess procedures to identify gaps and recommend improvements to security policies and systems * Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks in test, training, and operational activities * Lead Operations Security program development, implementation, and training * Oversee contractor and subordinate facility security oversight * Brief diverse personnel on security topics * Conduct SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-ons, and close-outs * Monitor and track corrective actions from compliance reviews * Notify program staff of security matters in a timely manner * Investigate loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified information and generate damage assessments * Coordinate with SAP security to update security education content * Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members Tasks * 15+ years of related experience * Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility * Eligibility for access to SAP Information * Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph * Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) * US citizenship * Bachelor’s degree in a related area (or equivalent experience) Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision plan options * 401(k) plan with company match * paid time off including vacation, sick, and personal time * paid parental, military, bereavement, and jury duty leave * short and long-term disability benefits * life and accidental death coverage
