Software Solutions Architect / Business Analyst

As a senior business analyst with The Mx Group, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and help them shape and plan digital projects. You will work closely with senior members of clients’ leadership teams, learn from them about their business and the challenges they face, and collaborate with them to design new processes and tools to overcome those challenges. You’ll manage the development of brand-new applications as well as updates to existing systems. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of development projects, keeping them on-scope and on-budget. Working with an experienced, enthusiastic team of software developers and analysts, you’ll produce applications our diverse client base - and their customers - can’t do without. Note: At The Mx Group, we call this role “business analyst,” but we’re looking for people with the right characteristics - not necessarily the same title. Whether you call yourself a BA, a project manager, a product owner, a product manager or something else, we want to talk to you!

• 8+ years of experience with software projects, including at least 5 years in a business analyst, product owner or similar role
• Experience designing and delivering complex software products; B2B and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
• Ability to think beyond gathering requirements to design / improve processes
• Outstanding critical thinking skills
• Excellent client-facing skills; comfortable working closely with senior executives
• An inquisitive, rationally opinionated, problem-solving nature
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Agile experience a significant plus
