Software Engineer Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise software for Product Information Management, Catalog, and Configuration. You will integrate with ERP, PLM, CPQ, and third-party platforms, applying cloud-native architecture and AI-driven catalog enrichment. You’ll collaborate with product managers and multinational teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that scale and perform. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping data-driven product data flows and governance. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade PIM, Catalog, and Product Configuration solutions using .NET, C#, Python, JavaScript and DevOps tech * Implement integrations with internal systems and third-party apps (Salsify, MuleSoft) on Azure cloud platforms * Build data-driven features/pipelines using Databricks, Python, SQL, EventHub, Service Bus and NoSQL/Graph databases * Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven workflows for high-performance product data processing * Develop UX for PIM, PDM, and MDM systems using JavaScript, CSS * Ensure performance, security, and scalability in cloud-native environments (Azure, AWS) * Participate in Agile practices (sprint planning, code reviews, CI/CD) * Supervise contract engineers and promote best practices in software engineering and data management * Build seamless product data flows across PLM, PIM, MuleSoft, ERP, MDM, and customer-facing apps * Establish standards for creating, enriching, and distributing high-quality Product Master Data * Drive integration architecture using MuleSoft and RESTful APIs for robust connectivity * Incorporate monitoring/analytics (Elasticsearch, Grafana, Power BI) for data quality and transparency * Explore Generative AI to accelerate attribute creation and metadata transformation * Partner with security, data governance, and stakeholders to enforce standards and scalable innovation * Perform duties with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities * Implement DevOps automation including CI/CD, IaC, and deployment strategies Tasks * 6-8+ years in enterprise software development (NET/C#/Python/JS/Typescript) * 3-5+ years in PIM, Catalog, Pricing, and CPQ systems * 3+ years designing/integrating ERP, PLM, PIM, CPQ with RESTful APIs or similar * 5+ years building microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures * 5+ years SQL and relational databases experience * 5+ years Document Databases (MongoDB, Cosmos, DynamoDB) * 2+ years Search technologies (Elasticsearch) * 3-5+ years cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud-native architecture * 3-5+ years containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * 3+ years scripting (bash, PowerShell) * 3-5+ years DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated builds, deployment) * 3-5+ years with Graph/NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, Databricks and data analytics * 2-4+ years familiarity with AI/Generative AI for catalog and metadata * 4+ years Agile experience in multinational teams * 2+ years data visualization/monitoring (Power BI, Grafana) Key requirements *
