Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead complex, cross-application initiatives to deliver value for Lowe’s. You will influence planning and prioritization with product managers and mentor engineers across the SDLC. You’ll design scalable data and enterprise solutions, establish CI/CD practices, and drive incidents resolution and governance. You work with platform teams to build a data lake and robust data pipelines, balancing build-vs-buy decisions and architectural standards. This is a hands-on, end-to-end leadership role with a strong emphasis on data, integration, and scalable software delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Resolve complex problems spanning multiple applications and lead products with significant business impact * Participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization with the product manager and advise engineers * Evaluate build-vs-buy options and select appropriate platforms * Lead development of integrated business/enterprise solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and compliant with architectural standards * Mentor others across the software development lifecycle and promote Agile/Kanban practices * Establish source control and CI/CD practices for efficient testing and deployment * Communicate changes in software architecture and guide teams on data/platform solutions; lead production incident resolution and root-cause analysis * Define and design data lake/data solutions, data governance, observability, and SLAs * Partner with platform, architecture, and stakeholders to architect solutions that meet business needs * Improve efficiency of ETL processes and data pipelines and deliver reports across on-premises and cloud infrastructure * Lead infrastructure-related projects from ideation to implementation, including cost/benefit analysis and knowledge transfer * Analyze design alternatives, assess risks and tradeoffs, and understand networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancing) Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field and 7 years of relevant experience * 3 years designing and developing SOA-based services * 3 years designing reusable code utilities/frameworks * 3 years designing business data object schemas (XSDs) and interfaces (WSDLs) * 3 years unit and end-to-end testing using JUnit, Cactus, and SOAP UI * 5 years analyzing business requirements to propose quality solutions * 5 years designing business processes/mediation flows end-to-end in IBM BPM IID * 5 years designing publish/deploy procedures in production * 5 years designing RESTful and SOAP web services prototypes and supporting teams in implementation Key requirements *
