Principal Enterprise Data Analyst

Experteer Overview In this role you support Regulatory Reporting by bridging business needs and technical solutions within an Agile pod. You will gather requirements, assess data processes, and ensure the data environment aligns with governance and regulatory expectations. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, Technology, Architecture, and Operations to identify data challenges and drive remediation initiatives. The position emphasizes data quality, controls, and cloud-enabled modernization to support accurate regulatory filings. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role focused on improving data maturity and reporting outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements with Regulatory Reporting teams * Participate in Agile ceremonies to align goals and deliver incrementally * Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for data engineers and developers * Support data quality rules and governance controls to meet regulatory standards * Define acceptance criteria for data-related user stories and assist testing * Create and maintain documentation, including source-to-target mapping and metadata in Collibra * Analyze data gaps, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation initiatives * Formulate responses to Regulatory Edit Checks and FR Y-14Q inquiries Tasks * Bachelor degree with 8 years in data management, analytics, or enterprise risk management OR High School/GED with 12 years of experience * Strong familiarity with CCAR, FR Y-14, BCBS 239 * Experience in Agile environments and stakeholder communication * Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Netezza) and ETL/data virtualization tools * Experience with data governance and remediation, data lineage, reconciliations, and controls Key requirements *
