Senior Manager, Data Science

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and shape data science initiatives within Visa’s Post Purchase Platform, driving AI-powered products at scale. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data products while balancing business needs with governance and regulatory requirements. You’ll explore new ideas and technologies, building innovative analytics and AI capabilities for banking, fintech, and integration partners. Compensation / Benefits * Implement, monitor and maintain production ML, NLP, and Gen AI models aligned with standards * Develop strategies to improve data extraction, model retraining, and data quality through wrangling and AI techniques * Ensure adherence to model review, data governance, and privacy processes across products * Advise on technical specifications with collaborators to translate requirements into solutions * Identify complex data trends to plan platform-wide updates * Own and maintain SQL-based dashboards from internal data warehouse and create visuals for diverse audiences * Explore opportunities to create new data products from analyses * Provide ad-hoc data analysis and studies for Visa teams and account management Tasks * 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 11+ years total experience * Strong Python expertise * Experience building ML/AI models (fraud detection, NLP, etc.) * 4+ years in data technologies (SQL, Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL) * 4+ years in dashboarding (Tableau or Power BI) * Experience with LLMs for feature extraction * Experience designing and tuning ML/AI models in production * Ability to lead multiple teams and influence technology decisions * Knowledge of data governance, data management and model review processes Key requirements * Medical, Dental, Vision * 401(k) * FSA/HSA * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Wellness Program
