Senior Software Engineer, BackEnd

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will work with modern technologies in a fast-moving environment, developing robust, resilient, and highly scalable backend services that directly power our products and experiences. The ideal professional combines solid backend experience with a deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and modern software engineering practices. What you’ll do:

• Implement and maintain complex, large-scale distributed applications, always aiming for performance, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Support code reviews, architectural decisions, and the evaluation of technologies that best solve our challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.
• Contribute to product quality and promote innovation within the engineering environment.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation, runbooks, and other supporting materials to capture decisions and operational improvements.

You will bring strong ownership, a collaborative mindset, and the desire to build reliable systems at scale. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, solving complex problems, and contributing to the continuous evolution of our platform.

We require a candidate who has achieved or is capable of the following:

• Experience with backend programming (e.g., Golang, C#).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to change.
• Clear communication and strong collaborative teamwork.
• Autonomy and proactivity in solving problems.
• Experience developing distributed systems and messaging (e.g., Kafka, SQS, Kinesis).
• Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) and caching (e.g., Redis).
• Knowledge of good software engineering practices, CI/CD, design patterns, and automated testing.

Differentials:

• Experience with high-volume data and high-traffic platforms.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability and performance tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
• Experience working with financial products and/or fintechs.
