Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled software and ML solutions that support GRAIL’s clinical, laboratory, and enterprise initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure AI-powered applications and improve business processes. You will contribute to model integration, evaluation, and deployment while upholding quality and regulatory standards. This position offers collaboration across technical and business stakeholders and growth in AI engineering capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled software applications, ML services, APIs, and enterprise solutions * Leverage AI capabilities (Generative AI, LLMs, RAG) to enhance processes and user experiences * Collaborate with product management, data science, engineering, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions * Contribute to AI model integration, prompt engineering, evaluation, testing, and deployment * Participate in architecture discussions, design and code reviews, and technical planning * Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex software, AI, and integration issues * Develop automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes * Evaluate new AI frameworks, libraries, cloud services, and engineering tools * Contribute to technical documentation, training, and best practices * Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant software * Support production operations, incident response, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field * Typically 3-5 years of professional software development experience * Proficiency in Python and at least one of Java, C#, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript * Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock) preferred * Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, microservices, containers, and modern SDLC practices * Experience with CI/CD, version control, Agile, and automated testing * Familiarity with databases, data engineering, REST APIs, and software integration * Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, life sciences, or regulated environments preferred * Knowledge of cybersecurity, HIPAA, FDA-regulated software environments, data integrity (preferred) * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities * Demonstrates ownership and commitment to high-quality software * Continuous learning mindset for emerging AI technologies Key requirements * flexible time-off * 401(k) with employer match * medical, dental, and vision coverage * mindfulness programs
