Experteer Overview In this role you will own wireless connectivity for a category-defining consumer product, shaping architecture, OTA strategy, power optimization, and reliability initiatives. You will work closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to scale a globally deployed platform. You will tackle firmware, RF, and mobile-environment challenges, driving end-to-end embedded development and connectivity improvements. This is a hands-on, ownership-based opportunity in a fast-growing hardware/AI company. Compensation / Benefits * Lead embedded firmware development for BLE-enabled products * Oversee wireless connectivity architecture decisions and RF optimization * Drive OTA firmware update implementation and deployment in production * Support manufacturing validation and customer-facing reliability initiatives * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and product * Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to team leadership Tasks * 5+ years of embedded software or firmware experience * 3+ years building and shipping BLE-enabled products * Strong knowledge of Bluetooth protocols: GAP, GATT, L2CAP, SMP, and BLE security * C and/or C++ development on microcontrollers * Experience with peripherals: UART, SPI, I2C, DMA * Hands-on debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers * Experience with OTA firmware updates in production * Knowledge of low-power device optimization techniques Key requirements * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Vacation Time * Stock Options * Bonus eligible
Requirements
