Robotics Systems Engineer , Tech Deployment

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead field deployments of industrial robotics and automation across Amazon fulfillment centers in North America. You work closely with cross-functional partners to install, commission, and troubleshoot robotics systems, guiding projects from planning through go-live. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and continuous improvements while traveling extensively to project sites. This position offers hands-on engineering leadership in a fast-paced, field-based environment with meaningful impact on deployment scale and safety. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical oversight on installation of robotics equipment (third-party and Amazon-designed) across life-cycle stages * Develop deep knowledge of robotic system operation to guide on-site and remote commissioning and troubleshooting * Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells within fulfillment centers * Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and internal customers including maintenance and operations teams * Travel to project sites (North America) to align stakeholders and monitor program status, both virtually and in person * Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget * Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance project outcomes and implement improvements * Lead teams of engineers on projects * Coordinate with field deployment partners, contractors, and construction teams Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field * 1+ years’ experience with technical drawings and/or CAD models (mechanical and electrical) * 1+ years’ experience working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems * Understanding of data collection and ability to make data-driven decisions * Ability to review data to set troubleshoot priorities on highly complex technical systems * Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Interest to work primarily in a construction or warehouse environment in a field-based role * Ability to travel domestically 75%+ of the year Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Maternity and parental leave options * Paid time off (PTO) * 401(k) plan
