Experienced QA Engineer with Hands-on Automation and AI Skills

Experteer Overview In this role you drive quality for AI and engineering platforms within our consulting practice. You will lead testing efforts for large-scale client solutions, interfacing with clients and Deloitte teams to shape testing strategy and ensure delivery quality. You’ll work across testing phases-functional, integration, performance-and leverage AI-enabled testing approaches to accelerate validation. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused position at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and client success. Compensation / Benefits * Act as lead interfacing between clients and Deloitte teams * Develop testing solutions aligned with clients’ business needs * Lead testing of custom technology solutions across SDLC * Define and drive testing strategy for large-scale programs * Ensure requirements traceability throughout SDLC * Manage testing activities across onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams * Utilize test and defect management tools (e.g., MicroFocus, ALM, JIRA) * Work with multiple environments including client-server, SOA, web, and mainframe architectures * Apply automated testing tools and scripting for test data and scripts * Contribute to AI/ML testing initiatives and AI-assisted testing approaches * Mentor and influence delivery teams and executives on QA best practices * Support CI/CD/CT processes and automated reporting * Travel up to 50% as required by client engagements Tasks * 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field * 4+ years defining testing strategy for large programs with lifecycle traceability * Experience leading testing efforts across system integration, UAT, and performance testing * Experience with at least two of: TCOE, TMO, mobile testing, automation testing, SAP/Oracle testing, data testing * 4+ years driving QA processes and securing executive buy-in * 2+ years leading onshore/offshore/nearshore teams * Experience with Test and Defect Management tools: MicroFocus, ALM, JIRA * 4+ years testing in varied environments (client-server, SOA, web, mainframe, 3-tier) * Experience with MicroFocus UFT, Rational, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman, RESTAssured, Mockito * Experience in at least one scripting language (Shell, VBScript, Perl, Python) * Experience with Source Control (SVN or GIT) * Experience with build tools (Maven, CircleCI) * Experience with automated reporting and cloud/API testing * CI/CD/CT tools experience (Jenkins, Bamboo, Quickbuild) * Experience applying prompt engineering for automated test scripts and data * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements *
