Cloud Program Manager

Experteer Overview As Cloud Program Manager at GDIT, you lead the VA Enterprise Cloud Brokerage Service, guiding multi-cloud strategy, governance, and financial oversight. You’ll partner with VA leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, fiscally responsible cloud modernization. You drive FinOps practices, risk management, and performance beyond siloed functions, delivering value at scale. This remote role offers high impact across federal cloud initiatives and collaboration with senior stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Oversee multi-cloud service environments and cross-functional teams * Be the primary interface with VA leadership (COR, CO, ECSO) * Lead strategy, governance, risk management, and financial oversight for the cloud modernization program * Ensure alignment with fiscal policy and FinOps best practices in a large federal cloud setting * Provide strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring * Coordinate across architecture, FinOps, governance, security, and automation teams * Manage FinOps services including cloud financial governance, chargeback/showback, and cost optimization * Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and security policy compliance * Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives Tasks * 10+ years of progressive IT program management experience * 5+ years leading large-scale cloud services contracts ($20M+ annual value) * PMP, ITIL v4 Foundation, or higher * Experience with federal cloud modernization and governance * Proven ability to manage cloud spend ($20M+ annual) within FinOps context * Strong data visualization and dashboarding capabilities * Experience with cloud financial governance and chargeback/showback models * Leadership and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and VA stakeholders Key requirements * medical plan with Health Savings Account * dental plan * vision plan * 401(k) with company match * flexible work weeks / telecommuting * paid time off including vacation, sick, personal time and holidays
