As a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development and industrialization of modern data solutions supporting business-critical processes and advanced analytics initiatives.

You will work within an Agile environment and collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts and stakeholders to build scalable, secure and high-performance data platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

Data Engineering & Development

• Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT processes to collect, transform and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Develop high-quality data solutions within a modern cloud-based architecture.
• Optimize data processing performance and ensure data reliability.

Cloud & Data Platform

• Develop and maintain solutions on AWS and Databricks.
• Design and optimize Spark jobs and distributed data processing workflows.
• Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s data platform and architecture.
• Implement best practices for data engineering, scalability and maintainability.

Data Management & Quality

• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across the entire data lifecycle.
• Optimize SQL queries and data warehouse structures.
• Implement monitoring, maintenance and production support activities.
• Participate in technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Produce technical specifications and unit tests.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Ensure timely delivery while respecting quality standards and project deadlines.
• Promote best practices around data engineering and data governance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• • 10 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Python, PySpark and Databricks.
• Solid experience working on AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
