Trading Strategy Software Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will join IMC’s trading strategy software team to build high-performance tools used by traders and quants. You will own end-to-end delivery-from requirements to deployment-delivering reliable software that accelerates decision-making in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. You’ll collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to implement trading strategies, pricing, and analytics at scale. This is a chance to shape core trading systems in a globally connected, innovative firm. Pay / Benefits * Collaborate with traders to understand and implement trading strategies * Own end-to-end development for high-impact projects from requirements to production * Develop, test, deploy, tune, and maintain Java-based applications, algorithms, and automation for Trading Teams * Improve the functional and operational performance of Strategy systems to enhance user experience and efficiency Tasks * At least 3 years of Software Engineering experience * Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, concurrency) * Quantitative/analytical skills with interest in trading * Experience in financial services or related industries * Independent work ability and stakeholder communication * Adaptability in evolving environments * Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field * Experience with JVM languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python * Advanced math skills a plus * Experience with information-rich GUIs/UXs a plus * Experience with large-scale data and research pipelines a plus Key requirements *
