This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional who enjoys solving complex problems and driving technical excellence. Accountabilities:

The Middle AQA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes that improve product stability and engineering efficiency. This role combines automated testing, manual validation, performance analysis, and collaboration across technical teams.

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and opportunities for product improvement across platforms and devices.
  • Design, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Develop and support API, end-to-end, and UI automated testing processes aligned with product requirements.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD testing pipelines while promoting shift-left testing practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategies, objectives, test cases, and quality criteria.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate bug fixes in collaboration with development teams.
  • Conduct performance testing and provide recommendations to improve system reliability and user experience.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and quality improvements.
  • Stay updated on modern QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to continuously enhance testing processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong experience in quality assurance, automation testing, and software development processes. They should combine technical expertise with analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with UI and API test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing principles, test levels, and test design techniques.
  • Experience working with Playwright for automated testing across UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail when reviewing requirements, code, specifications, and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, including triggering jobs, monitoring builds, and reviewing logs.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within Central European Time (CET) hours.

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible working hours.
