Sr. Data Platform Engineer (GenAI)

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform & GenAI Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, platform engineering, workflow automation, metadata integration, and Generative AI technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with product, infrastructure, governance, and integration stakeholders to support enterprise data catalog and data marketplace capabilities., * Manage diverse technical and operational stakeholders while delivering complex cloud-native solutions in evolving environments.

• Translate enterprise business objectives into modular software implementations.
• Lead technical planning activities, perform code reviews, and mentor developers on data platform engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Functional Leads to assess the technical and architectural impact of changes to the enterprise Asset Model, Data Catalog, and Data Marketplace.
• Co-develop metadata harvesting capabilities and support troubleshooting of platform and integration issues.
• Support scalable automation, secure GitHub Actions implementations, user provisioning, and Data Access Management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Governance Analysts and Data Access Leads on testing, debugging, policy enforcement, and secure data-sharing workflows.

• Proven experience managing diverse technical and operational stakeholders while delivering complex cloud-native deliverables.
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical designs, trade-offs, and security considerations to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
• Experience leading technical planning, code reviews, and mentoring developers.
