Job description

  • Designing end-to-end e-commerce solutions within a composable digital ecosystem
  • Creating future-proof integrations between the e-commerce platform and multiple ERP, CRM, and PIM systems
  • Translating business and functional requirements into clear technical architectures
  • Working within a cloud-native, headless (composable) e-commerce architecture
  • Advising on technology choices, integrations, and architectural principles
  • Supporting development teams during realization and implementation by providing architectural guidance and technical leadership
  • Ensuring solutions comply with security, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Aligning with product owners, (enterprise) architects, development teams, and other stakeholders

Requirements

You are an experienced architect who combines strong analytical skills with attention to detail. You are comfortable guiding stakeholders through technical decisions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment., * Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure), APIs, microservices, and headless/composable architectures

  • Hands-on experience with software development and DevOps practices
  • Experience working in agile environments and with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of architectural frameworks (Agile Architecture)
  • A background in backend integrations and automation technologies (EDI, OCI, APIs, middleware)
  • An understanding of UX principles and digital customer experience
  • Knowledge of data architecture and analytics platforms
  • Experience with AI use cases and chatbot integrations

Additionally, you bring:

  • Extensive experience with digital platforms and solution architecture
  • Several years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate across different stakeholder levels

About the company

For a large international organization in the medical industry, we’re looking for a Solution Architect (Composable eCommerce) to help shape the future of a group-wide digital customer platform. The goal is to bring eCommerce and customer-facing technology fully in-house and build a future-proof digital landscape.

You’ll play a key role in a 5-year international platform roadmap, rolling out one scalable composable eCommerce platform across multiple countries (Nordics, the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium), with around 10 acquisitions planned in the coming years.

You play a key role in translating complex digital e-commerce challenges into solutions that truly work for customers, professionals, and internal teams. You think strategically, maintain a clear overview, and naturally connect technology with business objectives.

You operate in an international environment and actively contribute to the further development of a digital, customer-facing e-commerce landscape, including integrations with multiple backend systems such as ERP, CRM, and PIM. You act as a trusted sparring partner for stakeholders and a reliable point of contact for development teams.
