Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will build and maintain production money-movement backend services, owning end-to-end features and contributing to larger initiatives. You’ll work closely with Product, QA, and other engineers to ensure reliability and scalability across EU and UK markets. You’ll shape architecture and improve observability, testing, and deployment pipelines to support merchant experience at scale. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, ownership-driven culture that values learning and collaboration. Pay / Benefits * Build and maintain production money movement backend services with focus on delivery, observability, and maintenance * Own and deliver end-to-end features and contribute to larger projects within the domain * Contribute to technical design and implementation following architectural patterns * Improve service reliability and quality via tests, monitoring enhancements, and delivery pipelines * Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident learning * Apply backend and systems perspective during refinement, flagging risks and edge cases * Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end transfer and banking capabilities Tasks * experience building backend services in a modern environment with production readiness * proficiency in Golang and willingness to learn other languages * comfort with cloud-based systems, containerized workloads, and automated delivery pipelines * ability to raise well-scoped pull requests, perform code reviews, and uphold code quality and test coverage * understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and API design, with eagerness to deepen knowledge * clear communication and effective collaboration with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders Key requirements * 25 days of paid leave * health insurance (Gjensidige) * life & accidental coverage (Ergo) * gym membership allowance * learning budget (2000 EUR) * Hack Days and Hack Weeks
