Cyber Manager - AI SOC

Experteer Overview In this Manager role, you will design and deliver scalable security operations solutions across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, and AI-enabled workflows for client environments. You’ll act as an embedded engineering lead, translating client needs into production security capabilities and leading cross-functional delivery. You’ll guide log processing, automation, and detection, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing reusable assets. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that emphasizes resilience, modernization of security operations, and practical engineering impact. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable security operations solutions across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, case management, and response platforms * Serve as embedded engineering lead with client teams to translate workflows into production-ready capabilities * Oversee deployment of log ingestion, normalization, enrichment, routing, detection, and orchestration via APIs, connectors, and data pipelines * Guide application of automation and AI to security operations use cases like triage, orchestration, alert summarization, and response recommendations * Mentor junior practitioners and contribute reusable engineering assets and implementation patterns * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * 10+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, security engineering, or enterprise cyber defense * Hands-on experience designing and optimizing SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, and response workflows across enterprise platforms * Experience building and maintaining integrations and automations using Python or similar scripting language * Experience translating operational requirements into technical solutions with clients or stakeholders * Ability to travel 50% on average * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * opportunity to work with cross-functional teams * career growth and professional development opportunities * inclusive culture * mentorship and knowledge sharing * varied client exposure
