Job description

Experteer Overview As Integration Engineer II, you will design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions that connect systems, data, and processes across cloud and on-prem environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to define standards, build scalable APIs, and ensure reliable data exchange. You’ll lead multiple workstreams across geographies, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in integration architecture. This role offers meaningful impact by accelerating client digital initiatives and modernizing technology platforms. Compensation / Benefits * Design end-to-end architecture spanning frontend, backend, integration layers, and Azure-based cloud infrastructure * Define technical standards, integration design patterns, and best practices * Create architecture diagrams, specifications, and data mappings * Build backend services and APIs using Python/JavaScript/TypeScript and tools like MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, Workato, BizTalk * Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for data exchange * Implement API security, versioning, rate limiting, and error handling * Manage SDLC across Test, UAT, and Production environments * Monitor and troubleshoot integration performance; provide post-deployment support * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows and governance * Take ownership of projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and mentor juniors Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related field * 4+ years hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for backend services and APIs * Proven experience designing/implementing integration solutions across on-prem and cloud * Strong understanding of integration patterns and architectural styles * Hands-on API design/development including RESTful, SOAP, and/or GraphQL * Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API keys) and versioning * Experience with enterprise integration platforms/tools (MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, Workato, BizTalk, Boomi) * Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) * Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, orchestration across heterogeneous systems * Experience SDLC including CI/CD, testing, multi-environment deployment * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to translate requirements to technical solutions * Experience leading or mentoring junior developers * Ability to travel up to 50% and legally able to work in the United States Key requirements *
