Data Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Data Engineer, you will design scalable, secure data solutions in the cloud to enable advanced analytics. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data architectures and modernize data platforms. You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, enforce governance and security, and enable self-service analytics through BI tooling. You will also mentor teammates and drive innovation in a dynamic, cloud-focused environment. This role offers impact through scalable data platforms and collaboration across stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions * Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large data environments * Lead modernization of data platforms to improve efficiency * Set and enforce architecture, governance, and security standards * Collaborate with BI teams to enable self-service analytics * Monitor performance, availability, and cost of data platforms * Translate complex requirements into scalable data architectures * Support training and mentor team members in data engineering practices * Adopt and integrate new data technologies to enhance capabilities Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience * 5+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in cloud-based solutions * Proficiency with Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake * Experience building and optimizing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines * Advanced SQL and data modeling for analytics workloads * Knowledge of governance, security, and quality standards in cloud platforms * Certifications in Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks preferred * Experience with Power BI and enabling self-service analytics * Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills Key requirements * hybrid work model * travel up to 15% * collaborative, innovation-driven environment
