Job description

Experteer Overview As Dataflow Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines to process vast mission-critical data for DoD customers. You’ll work within Systems Engineering to deliver near-real-time data delivery, automation, and reliable data processing at scale. Your work enables distributed sensor networks and data-driven decision making in national security missions. This role offers a chance to shape dataflow capabilities in a high-impact, mission-focused environment. Compensation / Benefits * Create and enhance robust ETL pipelines for reliable data stream processing * Automate data management and transformation to enable near-real-time delivery and storage * Develop or modify Java and Python scripts and custom processors for dataflow needs * Provide ongoing support for existing pipelines and troubleshoot issues * Identify and implement process improvements to boost reliability and performance Tasks * U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience (extensive experience considered in lieu of degree) * Experience with Apache NiFi or similar software * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams Key requirements * competitive compensation * healthcare and wellness programs * retirement and financial planning * professional development and continuing education * flexible time off * learning resources

Requirements
