Software Support and Development Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you ensure reliable service delivery for customers in an international setting, combining on-call support with collaboration on software projects and go-live activities. You will support WCS, MFC and OFS systems while contributing to software development and change requests. The position blends global client service with engineering work, leveraging automation knowledge to sustain system performance. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and project success. Pay / Benefits * Take on 24/7 on-call duties in an international environment * Serve as service delivery lead for new and existing customers; document service cases and solutions * Collaborate on software projects (CS, MU, PS, IS) and coordinate international project commissioning * Provide after-go-live support for projects and ongoing service for WCS, MFC * Contribute to software development for WCS, MFC and OFS systems (PTL, PbV) * Process change requests for existing customers Tasks * Experience with 24/7 on-call 2nd level support * High level of service and customer orientation * Knowledge of automation environment / warehouse management systems * Knowledge of logistics IT environment * Good written and spoken English & German * Willingness to travel * Experience with sophisticated software architectures * Experience in Java software development (min. 3 years desirable) * Confident handling of Oracle databases Key requirements * Benefits of an International MDax Group (KION Group) * Plenty of room for creativity in a rapidly growing company * Flexible and mobile working * Individual support and development * Employee discounts
