Platform Engineer - Infrastructure Runtime

Experteer Overview In this Platform Engineer role, you will help build and scale Glovo’s Kubernetes-based compute platform on AWS, focusing on reliability, scale, and developer productivity.You’ll drive cross-team initiatives and shape GitOps, CI/CD, and platform strategies to support our engineering velocity.You will mentor engineers, own critical infrastructure, and collaborate with product and platform teams to improve observability and performance.This is a chance to impact a high-scale, multi-tenant platform and advance a culture of resilient, secure infrastructure.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Evolve Kubernetes-based compute platform on AWS focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer productivity - Iterate on GitOps workflows using Argo CD and Argo Rollouts for safe deployments - Build and maintain scalable GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines - Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for secure, multi-tenant environments - Troubleshoot distributed systems, service discovery, container orchestration, and observability issues - Own critical compute and networking infrastructure for high performance and cost efficiency - Develop internal tooling and automation in Go and Python - Collaborate with platform and product engineers to share best practices and knowledge - Document learnings, pair programming, and technical discussions to uplift the teamResponsabilidades - 2+ years of infrastructure experience, preferably in a platform team - Kubernetes internals, observability, and cloud-native architecture (EKS a plus) - Golang and/or Python programming - Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) and Terraform - Understanding of GitOps and tooling (Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, or similar) - Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions or similar) - Basic networking and security knowledge (VPCs, DNS, ingress, TLS) - Strong collaboration and analytical troubleshooting skills - Strong written and verbal English communicationRequisitos principales - equity plan - private health insurance - Glovo credit - Cobee discounts on transportation, food, and nursery - discounted gym memberships - work from home two days a week
