Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions to accelerate scientific discovery and evidence generation in Innovative Medicine. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to turn complex problems into practical AI capabilities, from data pipelines to production-ready applications. Your work will improve literature search, data exploration, and content generation within healthcare workflows. You will drive quality, reproducibility, and documented decisions to ensure reliable AI outputs, while mentoring teammates and shaping technical direction. Pay / Benefits * Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions for scientific and healthcare workflows * Work with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt design, APIs, databases, and cloud services * Write/review Python code, develop data pipelines, integrate AI models, and move prototypes to production * Improve existing workflows for accuracy, scalability, maintainability, and testability * Create AI quality artifacts: test sets, evaluation methods, benchmarks, validation approaches * Document assumptions, limitations, and recommended use of AI outputs * Guide technical decisions, review designs, and mentor colleagues across the team Tasks * Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or related field; PhD also acceptable * 5+ years of experience building data science, ML, AI, or analytics solutions * Strong Python programming skills * Experience turning concepts into production-grade applications, services, or pipelines * Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or related AI architectures * Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices * Strong understanding of statistics, ML, data engineering, and model evaluation * Experience working with large, complex, or messy datasets * Ability to translate ambiguous scientific or technical problems into practical steps Key requirements * annual bonus potential * vacation days * parental leave * bereavement leave * well-being reimbursement * insurance plans
