EMC Design Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you design, evaluate and optimize EMC solutions for Apple products, applying first-principles thinking to solve complex EMI/EMC challenges. You collaborate across design, test, and cross-functional teams to deliver elegant, manufacturable solutions that sustain product quality and reliability. You’ll lead design reviews, formulate test plans, and turn results into actionable guidance, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and first-pass success. Compensation / Benefits * Evaluate, design and optimize EMC solutions across product development * Collaborate with design teams, test engineers and cross-functional partners * Conduct design reviews and create comprehensive test plans * Analyze results and translate findings into actionable guidance * Support continuous learning and dissemination of best practices for future designs Tasks * MSEE / PhD with specialization in electromagnetic fields and/or applications * Experience with electromagnetic modeling and simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, and ADS * Knowledge in EMC/ESD/RF/Signal Integrity and Power Integrity * Proficiency in Matlab and scripting for test automation and data analysis * Proficient in schematic and layout review of PCBs for emissions and immunity control * CAD review of enclosures, connectors, and cables for EMC compliance * Deep knowledge of worldwide EMC regulations and standards (EN55032, EN55035, IEC61000, ETSI 301 489) * Experience with EMC lab equipment (spectrum and vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, TLP) * BSEE or equivalent experience * 2+ years in EMC or related fields * Willingness to travel internationally * Strong communication and organizational skills Key requirements *
