Job description
- Perform firmware testing of gas metering products using both black-box and white-box testing methodologies.
- Analyze and interpret embedded C/C++ code to validate functionality, performance, and system behavior.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects by monitoring critical signals and conducting root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve firmware and system-level issues.
- Develop and implement automation strategies to transition testing processes from manual execution to automated frameworks, improving efficiency and test coverage., * Embedded C

- Experience developing and testing firmware on STMicroelectronics microcontrollers.
- Working knowledge of I2C communication protocols and sensor integration.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and white-box test execution.
- Experience using electronic test equipment to perform hardware and firmware validation in a black-box testing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
