Job description

Systems, Identity, and Cloud Administration * Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, file services, permissions, and identity infrastructure, including Duo multi-factor authentication, single sign-on integrations, access policies, and user enrollment. * Administer Google Workspace for Education, including account provisioning, organizational units, licensing, security controls, applications, and Chromebook management. * Manage Jamf Pro for Apple enrollment, configuration profiles, software deployment, patching, compliance, and lifecycle management. * Administer PaperCut printing services and maintain Veeam backup and recovery systems, including backup verification and disaster-recovery testing. Network and Communications Infrastructure * Design, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot district LAN, WAN, wireless, internet, and site-to-site connectivity, including Aruba switching, wireless infrastructure, and security-camera systems. * Configure and support SonicWall firewalls, network segmentation, access rules, remote access, content filtering, and secure connectivity. * Analyze performance, availability, capacity, and security events; perform root-cause analysis; maintain network diagrams and continuity documentation; and coordinate infrastructure work with vendors and service providers. Cybersecurity and Endpoint Management * Administer Cisco Umbrella, ESET Protect, NinjaOne RMM, and related security, monitoring, patching, and remote-support tools; apply security baselines, vulnerability remediation, least-privilege, encryption, logging, and related controls. * Assist with incident response, containment, evidence preservation, service restoration, and required internal documentation. * Support student data privacy, acceptable-use, records-retention, and cybersecurity requirements applicable to public education. Technical Support and School Operations * Provide Tier II and Tier III support for complex hardware, software

network, account, printing, security, and classroom-technology issues, and provide technical guidance on help-desk escalations. * Administer help-desk workflows, automations, reporting, and knowledge-base content. * Install, configure, repair, replace, and upgrade computers, Chromebooks, mobile devices, printers, audiovisual equipment, phones, and related peripherals. * Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, teachers, administrators, municipal staff, vendors, and technical partners. * Plan infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and maintenance; maintain technical standards, recovery procedures, and support documentation; protect confidential information and follow district policies. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and experience. * Three years of progressively responsible experience supporting networked, multi-site technology environments; relevant K-12 experience is strongly preferred. * Demonstrated experience with core networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SNMP. * Demonstrated ability to administer several of the district’s core platforms, including Active Directory, Google Workspace for Education, Jamf Pro, Aruba, Ubiquiti UniFi, SonicWall, Cisco Umbrella, ESET Protect, NinjaOne, Veeam, PaperCut, Duo, and HappyFox. * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, sound judgment, project-management ability, and clear written and verbal communication. * Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and interruptions, collaborate as part of a team, and interact positively with a diverse school community.
