Requirements

To enhance PTC’s security posture, the full-time Staff Product Security Engineer will provide cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, and development of security solutions for SaaS applications, operating systems, and networks, while working collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key responsibilitiesServe as a subject matter expert on Information Security and guide multi-disciplinary teams in implementing Cyber Security controlsIdentify and implement new security technologies and best practices, and review security test results to propose remediation measuresConduct security risk assessments and consult with internal teams on the secure design of cloud-based systemsRequired qualificationsUS Citizen or Green Card holder based in the US to meet ITAR complianceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Software Security EngineeringStrong knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and hands-on experience with threat modelingProficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
