Solutions Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you design, implement, and integrate secure, enterprise-grade systems for DARPA product teams, spanning Linux/Windows infrastructure, cloud, and air-gapped networks. You act as both solutions architect and hands-on engineer, driving security, automation, and CI/CD in cross-functional settings. You’ll lead end-to-end engineering initiatives, evolve the technical posture, and ensure mission-aligned outcomes with strong documentation and knowledge transfer. Compensation / Benefits * Architect and implement Linux- and Windows-based enterprise systems and secure infrastructure components * Support solution architecture for DARPA product capabilities, delivering diagrams and integration patterns * Apply breadth across systems engineering, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and automation to solve complex challenges * Serve as a trusted technical authority across peers, stakeholders, and customers * Engineer, integrate, and maintain security tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, sensors) * Lead systems hardening, secure configurations, STIG implementation, and cybersecurity compliance activities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering with mission and product goals * Develop automation and CI/CD workflows, including air-gapped pipelines * Troubleshoot advanced issues across hybrid and mission-critical environments * Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and sustainment handoff; occasional after-hours support Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field * 5+ years in systems engineering, software/application development, or security engineering * 3+ years in classified or air-gapped environments * CompTIA Security+ * DoD IAT Level II or III Certification (or ability to obtain) * Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI Key requirements * professional development programs * well-being programs * flexible culture * corporate citizenship and community impact
