Network Security Engineer (L2) - Palo Alto

Experteer Overview In this role you will safeguard clients’ security infrastructures by monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents to maintain service continuity.You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, handling second-level support, managing changes with proper approvals, and driving process improvements.You’ll partner with automation teams to streamline tasks and contribute to trend analyses that uncover automation opportunities.This remote position supports clients across Spain or Czech Republic, with a focus on reliable, secure operations and effective escalation handling.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Proactively monitor work queues and resolve incidents/requests within SLA * Update tickets with resolution actions and required details * Provide second-level support and identify root causes * Escalate and coordinate with CoE and other teams when needed * Execute changes with risk and mitigation notes and proper approvals * Follow shift handover processes and prioritize upcoming critical tasks * Collaborate with automation teams to optimize tasks and automate routines * Assist L1 engineers with triage and troubleshooting and support project work when required * Contribute to change management with thorough documentation and maintenance planning * Audit incidents for quality and produce trend analyses to inform automation * Support disaster recovery testing and related activities Responsabilidades * Moderate security infrastructure management experience * Moderate experience with ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow) * Moderate ITIL process knowledge * Moderate experience with vendors/3rd parties * Bachelor in IT/Computing or equivalent * CCNA mandatory; CCNP Security or PCNSE nice-to-have * Certifications relevant to services supported (weight given) Requisitos principales * remote working * flexible scheduling considerations * opportunity to work with global teams * career development through certifications * collaboration with automation projects * diverse, inclusive workplace
