Job description

As a Senior SAP EWM Consultant, you will act as a functional expert responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management solutions across our global organization.You will lead complex warehouse projects end-to-end, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable and high-performance warehouse operations.In this role, you will also mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our warehouse ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations and rollouts across multiple global sites, ensuring alignment with business requirements and integration with SAP S/4HANA and ERP environments.Design and configure complex EWM processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse task management, slotting, labor management, and yard management, to support high-volume, multi-site warehouse operations.Act as the main point of contact for global warehouse stakeholders; gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, and oversee solution design, testing, and go-live activities.Provide Level 3 support and incident resolution related to EWM across all regions; collaborate with Basis,ABAP development, and integration teams to resolve complex technical issues.Mentor and coach junior and mid-level EWM consultants; contribute to knowledge-sharing practices, internal training sessions, and the continuous development of the team’s EWM capabilities.Define and drive the EWM roadmap in collaboration with IT leadership and Supply Chain stakeholders; identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and system improvements aligned with the global business strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Manufacturing, Transportation Management) to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain integration; manage interfacesbetween EWM and TM, MM, PP, and third-party WMS/automation systems.Ensure compliance with global standards, local regulatory requirements, and change management best practices throughout the project lifecycle; prepare and maintain key documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and solution blueprints.RequirementsMinimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM, with a proven track record of delivering at least 3 complex, large-scale implementations in a global organization.Strong expertise in core SAP EWM processes (inbound/outbound processing, storage strategies, wave management, packing, physical inventory, RF framework) and proven experience integrating EWM with SAP S/4HANA, TM, and ERP modules (MM, PP, SD).Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (required); SAP EWM certification is highly valued.Fluent English (mandatory); additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus given the global scope of the role.Experience with warehouse automation technologies (e.G., conveyor systems, sorters, goods-to-person systems) and familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments across different time zones.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements
