Workday HCM Manager - AMS (Application Managed Services)

Experteer Overview In this role you lead Workday HCM AMS delivery for a portfolio of clients, combining functional expertise with strong relationship and operations management. You partner with service and engagement teams to drive ongoing support, enhancements, and optimization while ensuring customer success. You’ll guide governance, roadmap discussions, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met, all while developing a high-performing team. This position offers global, remote-capable delivery with opportunities to shape service strategy and client outcomes. Pay / Benefits * Lead delivery of Workday HCM AMS across multiple clients * Escalate and resolve complex functional issues and incidents * Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as trusted Workday advisor * Lead governance meetings, service reviews, and roadmap discussions * Ensure delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations * Provide expert guidance across Workday HCM and related areas * Review solution designs, enhancements and configurations * Support releases, optimization initiatives, and business process improvements * Lead, mentor and develop a team of Workday consultants * Manage resource planning, utilisation, forecasting, and workload allocation * Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement * Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance development * Support account growth, proposals, SOWs, and solution discussions * Collaborate with sales and account teams to expand AMS services Tasks * 7+ years of Workday HCM consulting, implementation, or AMS experience * 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience * Active Workday HCM certification * Strong expertise in Workday HCM and at least one additional functional area * Experience managing customer relationships within a managed services environment * Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, customers, and consultants simultaneously * Experience identifying and mitigating delivery, operational, and customer risks * Willingness to travel on-site as needed * Eligible for UK SC Clearance (UK residency for last 5 years) Key requirements * remote work (on #LI-Remote) * global operations with opportunities in NA, Europe, APAC * learning opportunities * affinity groups * contribute to communities/outreach * entrepreneurial environment
