  • Strong Linux systems engineering background with hands-on production responsibility\n

  • Experience with hardware-adjacent infrastructure beyond “just servers”\n
  • End-to-end mindset: you operate what you build, from metal to API\n

We are looking for anInfrastructure & Operations Engineerto take operational ownership of our test automation infrastructure. This ownership is firmly focused on stability and reliability, and the role involvessignificant hands-on software development, primarily in Rust, to continuously improve operability, observability, and automation. You will work as part of a small, highly practical team where building and operating the system go hand in hand. \n

Tasks

\n \n

  • Operate, maintain, and continuously improve a bare-metal Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test infrastructure\n
  • Deploy and run a Rust-based control plane for reserving and remotely interacting with physical devices\n
  • Actively develop and improve Rust services where needed, especially around reliability, observability, and automation\n
  • Manage NixOS-based systems end-to-end: provisioning, updates, rollbacks\n
  • Integrate and automate hardware control (USB/serial, USB-OTG, power control, HDMI capture, networked devices)\n
  • Leverage existing tracing and metrics to improve monitoring, alerting, and system reliability\n
