Windows Security Engineer - Quant Trading Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Windows Security Engineer to join our high profile client. Our client is a well-known quantitative proprietary trading firm, liquidity provider and market maker. They operate globally and are considered to be a market leader in their field. My client is looking for an Security Engineer with a strong Windows background and good exposure to platform security controls. You will suggest, design, test and implement security controls as well as give guidance

Requirements

support and escalation to the Windows team while working closely with the Cybersecurity team.The ideal candidate will have: * A degree form a top institution * Extensive experience working on securing a Windows platform * Knowledge of areas such as common Windows vulnerabilities and mitigation methods, countermeasures to common TTPs, OS hardening/best practices, log aggregation and querying methods. Experience hardware monitoring and performance tuning * An appetite for delivering solutions to complex problem * Good hand son experience with core Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, PKI, SQL) * Experience developing guidelines, standards and procedures for organisational IT Security Policy * Powershell would be a bonus. This role suits a candidate who has had responsibility early on in their career, someone who has worked in smaller agile companies with continual change. You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding or jack of all trades environment. You will also be a techie motivated by technology. In return you will be rewarded seriously financially we have no limit on basic salary. My client is based in London
