Job description

We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to support a major business and technology transformation programme.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of technology solutions through a combination of manual and automated testing, working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Architects, and wider project teams., * Create and execute test plans, test cases, scenarios, and scripts.

Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
Support test data preparation, environment validation, UAT, and release activities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Produce test reports, quality metrics, and stakeholder updates.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, automation, and QA practices.

Requirements

Strong experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or Automation Test Analyst.
Proven experience across both manual and automated testing.
Strong functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing experience.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Good understanding of the software development and testing life cycles.
Experience with defect management, test management, UAT, and release activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Skills & Tools:

Testing & Automation: Postman, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress Delivery & DevOps: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Git Data: SQL Collaboration & Reporting: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Hands-on experience with Postman and test management tools is expected, with exposure to automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD environments, and SQL highly desirable.

Desirable Experience

Experience across digital transformation programmes, cloud or data projects, API and integration testing, performance testing, CI/CD and DevOps environments, or consulting/client-facing engagements would be advantageous.
