Trading Infrastructure EngineerQuant Capital is urgently looking for an Trading Infrastructure Engineerto join our high profile client.Our client is a very successful and stable technology-driven trading business. They have no customers relying purely on the internal team to profit from the companies own money. They like technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record). They currently run around 3 billion in liquid capital.This is an environment of science and intellectuals. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.As an infrastructure engineer you will be responsible for:Building designing and supporting complex proprietary trading infrastructureSupport Euro trading hoursLearn new technologies such as Microwave and radiofrequency, and hardware acceleration.Own infrastructure

Requirements

projects from documentation to delivery.Automation and customisation of applications that support the quantitative trading operationsOptimisation and tune real-time systemsInvolved in test driven development and deployment of new systems to productionYou MUST have:Lan / Wan architectural experience with excellent knowledge of network and system integrationLow-latency experienceCCNPRouting protocols (OSPF, BGP)Experience of Multicast networkingComfortable with LinuxScripting (Python, Bash)Monitoring experienceThis role suits a candidate within finance looking for a move to a smaller close knit team comprised of highly skilled developers and engineers.
